Course Overview:

The presentation first addresses the principal features of EIFS and looks at how EIFS — with its excellent sustainable qualities — can benefit both new construction and the renovation of existing buildings. Next is a description and review of two independent government agency studies on the hygrothermal performance and life cycle analysis of EIFS. This is followed by a discussion of the benefits of continuous exterior insulation and finally, discussion on how EIFS can contribute to LEED certification.
