Jeffrey Cole
Jeffrey Cole Architects The principal of his eponymous JCA, Jeffrey has practiced architecture for 40 years, completing projects ranging from furniture design to over one million square feet of construction in New York City. His projects, supported by a deep expertise in NYC zoning, BSA variances, and Landmarks approvals, include hotels, private foundations, retail, condominiums, apartment buildings, and private residences. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, his work has appeared in Architectural Record, Elle Decor, Vogue Living, and New York Magazine. Notable projects include two EIFS Architectural Award winners—Houston House and 207 W 75th—along with the Whitman condominiums, The Alberta luxury rentals, the Draper hotel, the Richard Avedon Foundation, and the cantilevered Piper Cadmium condominium. Jeffrey has also served as a visiting critic at Carnegie Mellon, the University of Hartford, and Parsons. |

Marcell Davis, RA
Davis Partnership Architects A licensed architect with over twenty years at Davis Partnership Architects, Marcell has broad experience across the full architectural process. His recent work focuses on healthcare projects, particularly nonprofit medical additions and facilities, as well as an award-winning parochial school and ministry center completed in association with Faleide Architecture. Earlier in his career, Marcell led financial-institution projects during a North Carolina company’s Western expansion and oversaw numerous ground-up branches for a Denver bank’s growth in Arizona and California. Marcell holds a BA in English and History from Sewanee and a Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado. His portfolio spans retail, senior housing, mixed-use, recreational amenities, multifamily, and custom residential. |

Lansing Dodd, AIA, EDAC, NCARB
Gresham Smith Architects Originally from Santa Ana, California, Lansing earned her Master of Architecture + Health from Clemson University, where she collaborated on an Operating Room Prototype with the Center for Health Facilities Design and Research. She joined Gresham Smith in 2020 and became a licensed architect in North Carolina in 2021. Lansing has contributed to healthcare projects of all scales, including the Bear Family Foundation Health Center and the Henderson Health Center in Pensacola, Florida, which was honored with an EIMA EIFS Award of Merit in 2024. Passionate about the advancement of healthcare design, she founded the AIA Academy of Architecture for Health Charlotte Chapter, serving as chair in 2024–2025 and co-chair in 2025–2026. |

John Edgar
John R. S. Edgar Consulting, Inc. John's EIFS journey spans over four decades and is marked by a diverse range of roles, including sales, management, technical direction, and research. As a representative of codes and standards, he has been a driving force with other industry pioneers in shaping EIFS industry practices. Now retired, his passion for EIFS advocacy remains as strong as ever, as does his dedication to sharing his wealth of EIFS knowledge. |

David A. Johnston
Executive Director of the EIFS Industry Members Association (2009 - 2021) During his tenure at EIMA, Dave greatly expanded the association's technical expertise, leading key initiatives to advance industry standards and advocacy efforts. Notably, he played a pivotal role in one of the industry's most significant research endeavors—a partnership with Oak Ridge National Laboratory—that demonstrated the exceptional performance of EIFS. Dave brings unparalleled industry expertise, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of EIFS innovation and excellence to the judging panel, having served on project competition juries for the Associated Builders and Contractors and the Design-Build Institute. Now retired, Dave lives in Augusta, GA, and spends his leisure time playing golf. He is currently the president of the Augusta chapter of the American Wine Society. |
