Houston House
New York, NY | Residential
Project Specifications:
The Houston House, an 8-story building in the East Village, one of New York City's trendiest neighborhood's, address issues both practical and aesthetic. It was chosen because its energy efficiency would be able to stand up to wide seasonal temperature variations found in New York City and its noise attenuation properties could help with traffic noise. On the aesthetic front, the Milano finish allowed for the replication of metal panels. The result was a building both stylish and tough enough to call New York City home. Not only does the stylish Houston House fit in in the hip East Village neighborhood, it keeps its residents comfortable all year long, winter or summer, as they enjoy the sights (but not sounds) of their lower Manhattan setting. Sto Therm ci Essence system with the Milano finish made it all possible.
