Project Specifications:

IDEA Public Schools is a Pre-K-12 public charter school whose mission is to close the opportunity gap so all children, regardless of race, religion, or financial means, can succeed through unique curriculum and culture and be prepared for college and beyond.

Unique climate related challenges for the design and construction of this project made the durability, air and water management, and continuous insulation of EIFS cladding the best choice to combat the environmental factors. The project team did a fantastic job managing these challenges and completing the school on time to open for the new year. Set with the mountains in the background, the IDEA Public School, with accenting EIFS panels in yellow and blue, met both the playful design expectations and climate demands.
