One Platte
Denver, CO | Mixed-use
Project Specifications:
One Platte is a Class A mixed-use office building in the unique and energetic Platte Street district - an area of tremendous growth between downtown Denver and the bustling Highlands neighborhood.
Due to unique building constraints the project couldn’t stay on budget using traditional onsite construction. The EIFS contractor suggested using their prefabricated Masonry Panel System, which dramatically cut exterior envelope construction time by three months. By eliminating the traditional full brick veneer, the weight of the exterior wall system was reduced by an estimated 67%, reducing the size and cost of the building structure which allowed the project to remain in budget.
The exterior insulation and finish system was a big factor in providing value to the project and putting money back in the pockets of the ownership group, while maintaining the desired design aesthetic for One Platte.
