Shannondale Main Street
Knoxville, TN | Residential
Project Specifications:
When Shannondale of Knoxville, a top-notch senior living facility, expanded and renovated, the main hallway became a focal point and was designed to be a streetscape with multiple exterior facades creating a Main Street feel. EIFS was the natural material selection and the foam used allowed for sculpting various accoutrements of the different "buildings", with walls of steel framing and fiber faced gypsum sheathing providing the canvas. The EIFS contractor was able to recreate a main street reminiscent of small-town USA. It took fourteen colors, four different finish types and stencils to recreate the looks of precast, brick, plaster, and painted wood.
