Project Specifications:

The Dual Branded Hyatt Hotel is a six-story Hotel and Conference Center located in a new business park that supports the World Headquarters of Air Products and Chemicals along with other new and existing area Businesses. The project was specified with EIFS, modular insulated bricks and a cement board thin veneer system with insulation behind the cement board. Working with the applicator and the general contractor, EIFS was proposed as an alternate to the modular brick and cement board system. Utilizing EIFS allowed for ease of transition which provided numerous benefits including: one manufacturer of all backup systems; one installer (minimizing trade scheduling conflicts); one WRB manufacturer; one drainage plane for the entire façade regardless of cladding type; and one warranty for the entire project. Utilizing EIFS provided superior energy efficiency, design flexibility and cost-effective claddings.
